Whether its a van, a motorhome, a travel trailer or something we haven’t thought of yet, our goal is to bring you the most complete reference site. RVCrafter.com will be chocked full of useful how-to articles, handy tips and tricks, links to suppliers for materials and hardware, and as many helpful ideas and stories from our members as we can print!

Late in the summer of 2010, we found ourselves shopping for a camping trailer. Unable to find a model with the features we wanted with a weight we could safely tow, we discovered a small but growing trend of homemade rv’s. Hours and hours of reading and searching led to many helpful ideas, but they were widely scattered. Out of a need to organize our notes into a more useful form, RVCrafter.com was created. Over the next few months, we’ll constantly update the site with all the information we have gathered and open up the site for other DIYers to share and collaborate and build a helpful community for those wishing to complete their own homemade rv!
